Aya Kato’s work is gorgeous. I love the flowing lines and intricate detail, the bold shapes contrasted with delicate shades and delicious colour palettes.

Observing any one point in some of her pieces is difficult because there is so much more to see, and each element is woven into another.

This artwork was created for a Windows XP promotion in 2005.


Reknit is so cute, send an old sweater to “my mom” and she’ll unravel it and reknit it into something different each month. January’s item is a scarf.
