Dizzy over this feature wall. I’ve always loved pink and brown together, but this fuchsia is exquisite with wood and white. I can imagine that colour being spectacular with Kauri too… (via Cam, who knows me too well.)

I’ve got some more film back, so exciting. Dare I say the pictures are looking better already (this image is from roll #4, shot 3rd July). It’s Twitter’s Hottest Home Baker time again, (what?) and now bakers can suggest themes to go into the pool. On Friday at midnight this month’s theme was drawn – Caramel! Caramel Slice sprang to mind immediately, I love the stuff. It’s so so bad, but so so good, and I actually haven’t tried making it … Continue reading “”

Audio Passion Pit cover Smashing Pumpkins’ track Tonight Tonight. I flipped out when I found this, and immediately sent it to every person I was talking to in IM. The Smashing Pumpkins are an old favourite, and I love this song. Add Passion Pit to the mix? LOVE. (reblogged from spacetoasters super sleuthed out from brokensilence)

First roll is out of Diana Mini, lots learned. Quite like half frame even though it actually does feel like you’re shooting forever.

jarredbishop: I’m liking the new video/single from The Naked And Famous, the song has a definite M83 feel to it, but it’s not a bad thing at all. Looking forward to their show next week. /video by Special Problems via Thorsten Konrad.

Lomography launched their Spinner 360° camera today. It’s manual, takes no batteries – you pull a ripcord and it spins 360° degrees using a rubber band mechanism for a full-circle panorama image. The camera takes 35mm film, on which you can apparently fit eight 360° exposures. Looks like fun!
